I’m so excited to share my recent finds with you all!
Target does it again! I made a recent trip to Target to replenish some household items, and I somehow got sucked into the women’s clothing section. (Or at least that’s what I’m telling my husband!) Recently, so many people (myself included) have been raving about great items from Free People, Marc Fisher, and other higher-ended retailers. I felt like it was time to whip out the Target shopping trip to find some pieces that are inexpensive but super high-quality. And I did just that, y’all! Every item I’m sharing with you today is UNDER $40! I’ve styled each piece so that you can get a better feel for how they look off the hanger. I’ve linked ALL of today’s styled outfits in my LIKEtoKNOW.it account, so check that out if you’re interested in shopping any of the pieces you see in this post. I styled almost every outfit with my fav Abercrombie bodysuit (on sale for only $19.99!! RUN!!!) and my Vince Camuto booties (color: Tortilla Suede)! These are my closet STAPLES!! Highly, highly, highly recommend. But without further ado, here are my five recent Target finds!

#1) High-Rise Cargo Pants
Okay these were love at first sight, you guys! I have been so into the cargo pant trend lately. They’re comfortable, easy to style, and I feel like they totally give off the “casual, cool-girl” vibe. So if you’re into that, these are for you! This pair is a beautiful rose color, and they have a thicker material which makes them feel higher-end. I paired them with both a heeled sandal and an ankle boot to show how perfectly they can be transitioned into spring. And the best part? They’re priced at only $28 and fully stocked in all sizes online!

#2) Corduroy Puffer Jacket
Is this color not to die for?! I was born a Tarheel fan, so I’ll always be drawn to that Carolina Blue! If you’re like me, you’ve been on the hunt for good puffer coats this season. I love the popular Abercrombie style, but those run anywhere from $75 to $160. THIS beauty is only $38! I love the full-length zipper, the corduroy material, and the slightly cropped style. It’ll keep you warm without feeling cumbersome, and the color transitions beautifully into spring. I think the black zipper detail goes great with a pair of black combat boots, and I’ve been loving my new Doc Martens from DSW!
Size Reference: XS (could’ve worn a small!)

#3) Plaid Button-Up
Alright ladies, this is such a cute STAPLE item. I’m not sure how I’ve gone so long without having something like this in my closet. You can style this button-up so many ways, and I feel like every girl can switch it up to fit within her personal style preference. Such a great transitional piece – it can be worn under coats, by itself, or wrapped around your waist in the spring. I love a good day-to-night transitional top, so it’s a win for this working gal! The cutest/most practical $19.99 I’ve spent in awhile!

#4) Zip-Up Sherpa Jacket
Alright I questioned/doubted this sherpa jacket when I saw it on the hanger. Do you remember Mr. Snuffaluffagus from Sesame Street? (see photos here) That’s where my mind went. BUT I decided to give it a shot and HOLY COW I’m so glad I didn’t pass this up! It’s a pretty camel color, so it pairs super well with black and white (or any color for that matter). I love the cuffed sleeves, and the material is SO soft and warm. To top it all off, it’s another item under $40 priced at just $38. Such a steal in my opinion!

#5) Leopard Print Midi Skirt
And last but certainly not least, we have a skirt that I LOVE but in a style that’s still growing on me: the midi skirt. I love that these skirts can be worn at and outside of work, and the breathability is unbeatable in my opinion. How is something this cute so comfy!? I’ve been loving animal print and (as shown) it can be paired with white or black! I’m kicking myself in the rear because I cannot find a link to this for the life of me – so I linked a few alternative finds from other retailers!
