MY “Me-Time”
Is the morning Not Enough?
The Products

This step is ESSENTIAL if you wear makeup during the day. It’s so important to remove your makeup prior to cleansing your face. I’m sure many of you love the Neutrogena Makeup Wipes, but those don’t work for me! They’re far too oily, and they left small bumps in my T-Zone. So after I stopped using those I started using this micellar water. I squirt it directly onto my Shiseido Cotton Pads, then I use the cotton pad to wipe off all of my makeup! TRY THIS STUFF, Y’ALL! Inexpensive – but SO effective at removing all of your makeup!
Price: $8.99

After I remove my makeup, it’s time to cleanse. This step helps remove anything the micellar water left behind. This is the same cleanser I use in the mornings, and I stand behind it 100%. Truly the best cleanser I’ve ever used!

This step is TOTALLY optional. I try and steam/mask about 2-3 times per week! Steaming should always take place immediately after cleansing. There are SO many benefits to a facial steam (cleans out your pores, enhances circulation, hydrates, removes toxins, and makes your skin more receptive to the rest of your skincare). I LOVE adding this into my pamper routine. I also try and use a mask right after I steam. I’ve tried a lot of masks, but my favorites are THIS ONE (for pores), THIS ONE (for hydration), and THIS ONE (for a sheet mask).
Price: $39 (Masks range from $6-50)

After my cleanser (or after my steam / mask treatment), I always use a toner. This is the same one I use in the mornings! Toners help remove any excess dirt/oils, and it also balances out the pH levels to control acne. Again, I spray this toner all over and gently wipe it off with a Shiseido Cotton Pad.

Serums are made to penetrate deeply into the skin. This skincare step can be individualized based on your skincare concern! For me, I wanted a serum that helped with aging, acne, fine lines/wrinkles, and texture. Y’all. This stuff is expensive but IT IS INCREDIBLE. When this runs out, I will 100% be repurchasing.
Price: $138 ($117.30 with email sign-up coupon)

As I mentioned in my AM Skincare post, Hyaluronic Acid is something I apply day and night. I use a less expensive option for the mornings, and then I use this Hydra Cool Serum in the evenings. I didn’t realize how much my skin loved this until I ran out and didn’t repurchase it. As soon as I bought it again, my skin was happy! Love this stuff!
Price: $94 ($79.90 with email sign-up coupon)

It’s SO important to seal all of your skincare products in with moisturizer. Since I’m dry, I wanted to make sure I found a moisturizer that really helped revitalize my skin overnight. This stuff is extremely hydrating – I love it!
Price: $98 ($83.30 with email sign-up coupon)
This is the step where I add in my facial tanning drops if necessary. When my skin looks dull or pale, I mix about 4-5 drops of the tanner into my moisturizer before rubbing it in. When I wake up the next morning, my face has the BEST color! HIGHLY recommend these tanning drops!

I can’t stress this enough, you guys: EYE CREAM IS SO IMPORTANT! The skin under our eyes is SO delicate and thin. I love this option (especially for the price!). It hydrates, de-puffs, and brightens the under-eye. I always apply it with my ring finger for the least amount of pressure! As great as the NIA 24 eye cream is, my favorite eye cream (and the one that I see the most visual benefits from) is THIS ONE.
NIA 24 Price: $71 (ON SALE NOW – $56.80)
Skinceuticals Price: $98

I use this day and night, but this lip mask was actually formulated for the nighttime! It’s a thicker consistency, and it truly keeps your lips SO hydrated. Again, this product has over 6,500 5-STAR reviews. A cult favorite – and for good reason!
