A Tuesday that feels like a Monday – I’LL TAKE IT! I hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend and that you feel as refreshed as we do for the week ahead. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen my husband Kendall. He’s the better half of our marriage – the funny one, the patient one, the laid back one… He does it all – cooks, cleans, does the dishes, folds the laundry. JACKPOT HUSBAND, I TELL YOU. We’ve been married for almost 4 years, and he’s also the man behind 98% of my photos! I thought for today’s post it would be fun to recreate my very first blog post from back in January. I shared 26 Random Questions about myself, and today you’ll get to see Kendall’s answers to those exact same questions! Without further ado, I’m gonna hand the keyboard over to the man himself.
- What is your full name? My name is Kendall Thomas Snyder. I always hated the name Kendall as a kid but it’s grown on me. Would rate it 6/10.
- What do you do for a living? I am a full-time blogger’s husband and semi-professional iPhone photographer. In my free time I dabble in managing the logistics of a paper mill.
- Are you a morning or a night person? Grew up a night owl, but I’ve transformed into my father. Full blown 5 AM wake up calls and 8 PM lights out.
- What’s your favorite candle scent? Generally anything that is fresh or natural. I stay away from the sweet smells as they just make me hungry.
- What’s your favorite thing about marriage? My wife. Not just having a wife but my actual partner I was lucky enough to marry. She makes life a party every single day and she will not allow me to go backwards. All a man can ask for, She is also really really fun to look at. **Don’t edit this out.
- What movie could you watch over and over again? Insanely hard question because I love all things cinema. I will go with Se7en though. Don’t judge me.
- What is the name of your favorite restaurant? Sam’s Sports Bar and Grill (Hendersonville, TN)
- What’s your favorite beverage besides water? Water with a hint of lemonade from Chipotle? But I really enjoy the super-basic craft beer scene, so I will stick with a nice hoppy pale ale.
- What is one food that you used to hate but now you love? Brussel Sprouts on repeat. Serve em up anyway you want and I will dig in.
- What is your favorite bible verse? Joshua 1:9 has always spoken to me in such a strong way. I had it written in expo marker on my mirror in HS and college just to help remind me He is always there no matter where I go.
- What is one of your biggest pet peeves? Oblivious-ness. Yes I understand that some people cannot help it, but that part bothers me even more. If you think that weird Facebook story sounds unusual, maybe do 10 seconds of research on it before sharing it to your friends.
- What’s your favorite song? Cry Me A River by Justin Timberlake or Empty Apartment by Yellowcard.
- What’s your favorite social media platform? Twitter and it’s not close. I enjoy unique and fun ways to laugh and learn new topics and Twitter gives that to me daily.
- What is your favorite beauty item? I love a good cologne. YSL is my new jam, but I am open to new scents if you got any suggestions.
- What is one item on your bucket list? Go to a major once in a lifetime sporting event with my dad. Something like the Kentucky Derby/Super Bowl/Vols National Championship game.
- What is your biggest goal of 2020? I want to grow our family in spirit and size.
- What is your all-time favorite TV series? BRUTAL.. Harder than the favorite movie question. I will say The Wire by the smallest of margins to The Sopranos. (See how I snuck a second one in there?)
- What’s your favorite sport to watch? College Football. I would send all the other sports away just to see the Vols run through the Power T seven times year.
- Are you more like your mother or father? I am a momma’s boy through and through, but I would say 50/50. I get a lot of the softer skills from my mother but most of my personality traits are from my father.
- What habit do you currently have that you wish you started much earlier in life? Healthy exercise habits both physically and mentally. Please do not skip either as they very much impact the other from my experience.
- On a scale of 1-10, how funny would you say you are? To my wife? 10. To a normal human? 6.75. She laughs at all my jokes and for that, she will always be my favorite.
- Do you take leftovers home when you eat out? I take my wife’s leftovers home and I eat those before I go to sleep. My parents used to make fun of me because I would always finish their leftovers before the following morning. It’s sort of my thing.
- What is the most important thing in your life? My entire family. Both Katie and Raleigh as well as my natural born family and God inherited family (you people call them in-laws).
- What is your junk food guilty pleasure? WINGS AND FRIES. I could eat them 3x a week.
- What is one thing you’d rather pay someone to do than do yourself? Laundry, dishes, cleaning the floors, mowing my yard, washing the vehicles, picking out my clothes, cutting my hair, and finally getting gas for the vehicles. However I would not pay someone to walk my dog, that is a moment I cherish with my son.
- What is the last movie you watched? I watched War Dogs because it was on HBO at the hotel I was staying at.. Not the best flick but it will do.
