If you saw my recent Instagram post, you know I’m an unashamed SNACK QUEEN. Snacking is my favorite pasttime. I love chips, cereal, candy, popcorn… the list goes on. I’ve always been the type to eat on and off throughout the day (even when I’m not even that hungry). I can’t keep junk food in our pantry because I’ll run through it SO quickly! So instead of trying to eliminate snacking altogether (not possible for me), I’ve found several healthier snack options to implement in my everyday diet. This list of My 5 Favorite Healthy(ish) Snacks helps me stay sane and fulfilled while also remaining on track with my fitness goals. They may not be the healthiest snacks of all time, but they’re a healthier alternative and don’t make me feel like I’m restricting myself! If you’re on the hunt for healthier quarantine snack ideas, hopefully this list will help!
My top 5 Health(ier) Snacks:

Rice Cake Snack
If you’ve been following along on my Instagram, you know this is my favorite snack of ALL-TIME. I take an “Everything” Rice Cake (I buy mine at Food City and Ingles), spread a serving of Laughing Cow cheese over top (my favorite flavors are Garlic & Herb and Spicy Pepper Jack), then I add two slices of deli turkey. It’s a 100 calorie snack that’s SO SO yummy and will keep you full!

Greek Yogurt + Granola
Hi my name is Katie and I’m a Safe + Fair addict. BEWARE: this stuff is addicting. But Kendall and I love using the Birthday Cake granola as a topping to our favorite healthy snack: Greek Yogurt! The Two Good Greek yogurt can be found at most grocery stores, and it’s low in sugars and high in protein! I use about a half serving of granola on top to make this snack under 150 calories!

Spicy Hummus + Carrots/Pretzel Crisps
Hummus is one of my all-time favorite healthier snacks. There’s so many different flavors to choose from, but we love the Sabra Supremely Spicy! When I have more carbs to spare, I like to dip Pretzel Crisps into the hummus (preferably buffalo wing, but I also love the original flavor). When I’m trying to be a little bit more lean, I dip carrots or cucumbers or sliced bell peppers into the hummus. SO GOOD, Y’ALL!

Grab ‘N Go – Premier Protein + Fit Crunch Bars
Sometimes I need an “on-the-go” healthier snack option, and I love having high-protein options for this purpose. Premier Protein drinks have 30 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar. These can also function as a meal replacement if you’re in a time crunch. And the Fit Crunch bars are only 190 calories and practically taste like a dessert! My favorite protein bars of all time! Honeycrisp Apple + PB
This is one of my favorite nighttime sweet-tooth snacks when I have some carbs available in my macros. Apples are great for you in moderation, so I usually slice about half an apple and mix up 1-2 Tbsp of Peanut Powder to dip the apples in. It’s the best snack to get you full FAST. And if you haven’t tried Peanut Powder, it’s a great alternative to Peanut Butter with a lower fat count.
